The Village of Volo receives 24 hour police services from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.  Please contact the Sheriff with any questions you may have or to request a specific service.  Some helpful numbers can be found below.

For Non-Emergency assistance or to file a police report call:

Police reports can be filed in person weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM (excluding holidays) at:

To provide information on a Crime or any Criminal Activity you can contact the Lake County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division at (847) 377-4250 or Email your information to sheriff@lakecountyil.gov.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office is also a member of Lake County Crime Stoppers. You can provide anonymous tips at (847) 662-2222 or by email to crimestoppers@co.lake.il.us.

Requesting a House Watch
If you are a resident of Lake County and receive law enforcement services from the Lake County Sheriff's Office, you may contact our 911 Center at (847) 549-5200.  They will ask you a series of questions necessary to establish a House Watch.  It only takes a few minutes.
