More… The Village of Volo is considering a commercial garbage franchise to help local businesses save money. In communities that have awarded a franchise, local business owners have seen their garbage bills reduced by an average of 20%! This is due to lower rates, fixed price increases, and no surcharges (environmental, fuel, etc.) that the Village is able to negotiate on behalf of its businesses community with a single waste hauler. The survey will help us to determine the services to include in the bid and your garbage bill will allow us to compare waste haulers’ bid prices to current market prices.
