Customer Service Representative (PT)

The Village of Volo is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time (20 hours/week) Customer Service Representative (CSR).  CSRs provide front counter and phone support and perform a variety of administrative duties as assigned, including data entry and processing, recordkeeping and reporting, and scanning and filing documents.

The position requires a dependable, self-motivated individual who is organized and flexible; pays attention to detail, deadlines, and procedures; and has the ability to handle and prioritize multiple responsibilities simultaneously.  The position requires good communication skills and excellent customer service skills.

Must be experienced with computers (Microsoft Word and Excel) and possess some data entry experience.  Previous administrative and/or secretarial work experience is a plus.

Regular work hours are 9:00 am – 1:00 pm (Monday – Friday).  Additional hours may be required for schedule coverage.  The hourly rate for this non-benefit position is $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.  This position may be expanded to include additional hours and responsibilities in the future.
